How an answer gets written
Every question here is answered three times. This page explains what stands behind each depth and what happens when the record changes.
What we publish
Helix Reader answers questions people ask about peptides: what a word means, how a hormone works, what a label or a trial result says. Each answer has a one-sentence glance, a short read with key points and a full explanation. It is reading for curious people, students and anyone weighing a headline, not a treatment guide.
Which sources count
The longer questions were checked against primary records before they were written: papers indexed in PubMed and PubMed Central, labels on DailyMed and Drugs@FDA, pages from the FDA, Health Canada and other regulators, trial registries such as ClinicalTrials.gov and anti-doping bodies. Each one lists its sources under the full explanation, labelled with the publisher.
Seller pages, clinic marketing and forum posts are never used as evidence, and a certificate of analysis supplied by a seller is not treated as independent testing.
Two kinds of questions
Twelve short starter questions (Q01 to Q12) explain basics such as what a peptide bond is or how a purity number is measured. They were written before the source log existed and do not list sources yet; each one says so. We are adding sources to them one at a time.
Doses and buying
Many questions arrive as a dose or a shopping search. For an approved medicine, an answer may quote the dose on its label and cite that label. For unapproved compounds it describes what studies used in general terms and says plainly that no established human dose exists. We give no personal dosing advice, no schedules or mixing recipes, name no sellers and list no prices for grey-market products. A title with the word dosage or buy answers that search honestly; it does not hand over a protocol.
Independence
There are no ads, affiliate links or sponsored questions, and nobody pays for coverage. Answers are published under the Helix Reader name; named authors or reviewers will only appear when real people sign their work.
Corrections
When a study, label or regulator decision changes, or an answer is wrong, we fix it and the Updated date on the question moves to the day of the change. Send corrections through the contact page with a link to the record that shows the error.
